Colorado College, coached by Cheddy Thompson, won the national title with a 13-4 victory in the final game over Boston University, coached by Harry Cleverly. Ralph Bevins, goaltender for Boston University, was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player. ==Format== The two teams judged to be the best from each region (East and West) were invited to the tournament as participants in the single-elimination tournament. They were seeded to allow intra-regional play in the semifinal (the #1 team from the East plays the #2 team from the West and vice versa).
